12 September 2026
Today, on your birthday, I find myself thinking not only about the woman you are today, but also about the long and fulfilling journey we have taken together.
When we first started our relationship (and especially our marriage), you and I were still learning
what it meant to share our life so completely with another person. Like all of
us, you had your own dreams, your own priorities, and your own way of seeing
the world. But as the years passed, I watched you change—not because you had
to, but because life, love, and family slowly shaped your heart.
I have watched you grow from the person you were into a woman who thinks deeply about the people she loves and cares. You
became a wife who stands beside me, a mother who gives so much of herself to
our children, and a person whom others know they can turn to when they need
help, comfort, or simply someone they can trust (I believe many of your friends would be more than willing to attest to this).
That transformation is something I admire and I am grateful for more than I can
fully put into words.
Marriage has not always been easy. We have had our
disagreements, difficult seasons, misunderstandings, and moments when we both
had to learn to be more patient and more understanding. But through all of it,
we have grown. And when I look at you today, I see a woman who has become stronger, kinder, more caring, more giving, and more dependable than the woman I first
married.
I am proud of you.
I am proud of the wife you have become.
I am proud of the mother you are.
And I am grateful for the person you have chosen to become—not only for our
family, but for the many people whose lives you have touched.
Perhaps that is one of the greatest gifts of growing older
together: we get to witness each other's transformation. We get to remember who
we were, appreciate who we have become, look forward to who we will be
together, and, more importantly, help each other on becoming a better person from time to time.
On your birthday, I want you to know that I don't take any
of this for granted.
Thank you for building this family together.
Thank you for
being there through the good days and the difficult ones.
Thank you for
becoming someone our children can look up to and someone our family can depend
on.
And thank you for continuing to grow alongside me, although it has not always been easy.
I hope the years ahead bring you the same love, care, and
happiness that you have given to so many others.
May you always remember that you are loved—not because of
everything you do for us, for me, but simply because you are you.
Happy birthday, my wife, my partner, and the mother of our
children.
I am grateful for the woman you were, proud of the woman you
have become, and excited for the woman you will continue to be.
I love you, and I look forward to growing old
with you.
